If not, your cabby is a rare breed on Tooley Street. Last night on the same street at lights with Bermondsey Street - I was sitting in the ASL on the right as I could the traffic up ahead.

Cab screeches to a halt on my inside.

Do they have any training about cycle facilities? Or are they allowed to skip that bit?

IME 90% + ignore cycle facilities or deliberately use them to their advantage. Surely if police wanted to enforce them a big black cab with a ID would be easy to catch , I guess they don't.

I'm very happy to see a driver doing that. I'd far faaaar rather they pulled over and stopped to talk on the phone, even if it's a slightly inconvenient stop. Driving like a drunk would be far worse than parking in a cycle lane.
