*finally* got a ride out , ( got a stupid abcess on my back  ).. after about 3 miles of trying to align my rear wheel (hasnt been right since i had a rear puncture) FINALLY i get it not dragging on my brakes ( doesnt help that i tried to straighten my wheel ooops)..

so on cloud 9 . finally not feeling like i'm towing a caravan

nearly at end of route, turning right at some lights.. however traffic coming the other way in the 'right only' is suddenly noticing right turn is closed ( though no sign until the junction ).. so it's a bit hectic...
i've waited for a full change, lights go red for oncoming, bout to setoff as it's stopping.... and the guy next to the front coming opposite way, blasts off overtaking the car stopping at the lights and screams round in front of me( sticking a finger up at me in the process as comment on my 'adverserial comments about his driving)... tbh if i'd been driving he'd have got me because i'd have setoff quicker..... total idiot.. (black audi , missed the reg  )

i was just by the right turn arrow.. left ( for me) was shut due to roadworks

Coming home tonight-approaching a set of lights, guy overtakes then immediately turns left right across my path, just about managed to brake enough to miss him fortunately, big shout from me 'DI*K made me feel better anyway.

Happened to me today on my ride, some BMW driving idiot, decided to pass between me and a traffic island on a single carriageway road, then immediately take a left turn. Also a small man with a stack of boxes walked out into the road without looking, not that he could see where he was going, the stack of boxes were taller than he was.

Todays muppet for me was the one dozy swine who pulled out from behind a car that was waiting to turn right and did a left turn right in front of me... brake testing me, I shouted "ARE YOU EVEN LOOKING!". Annoying thing is that a) I'm faster on that road because of the speed bumps, and b) he go stuck in traffic as a train was passing. I filtered past and went to wait on the pavement and as I passed his drivers window I gave him a good hard stare. He just stared straight ahead.

My muppet of the day was a taxi driver. Decided to overtake me and then promptly turn left into the customer's driveway. The whole situation wasn't helped by the driver behind the taxi deciding to overtake just as I was making evasive manoeuvres.

That happens two or three times every morning; gotta get the precious kiddies to school I suppose and sod everyone else on the road.

My muppet of the day today (dinner time or "lunch" for you lot darn sarf); at a roundabout in Birchwood (land of roundabouts), was setting up to go straight on where there are two lanes approaching, I was riding primary in the nearside lane when a motorbike (!) passed me within the last 5 yards, stopped in the nearside lane but to my right and put his left hand indicator on. I cycled round him and gave him a Paddington hard stare.

It just seemed so much more upsetting that it was a motorbike. Nothing dramatic but just annoying.

You weren't left hooked the taxi had completely passed you when it started to brake sharpish and turn off the road. It wasn't the most considerate driving, but you weren't left hooked.

You don't look round once in the 29 seconds of footage. You are riding along what looks like quite a busy road. Perhaps you should start doing so? It might stop this sort of thing happening to you.

From the low angle it looks handbar mounted to me. Hence why no "head movement".

And you are very correct. Actually it is mounted on the front of the stem, so what you see is in direct line with my front wheel.

Also what you don't see is me having to brake quite sharpish as a result. The Micra was drawn level to me when the taxi decided to pull in. The only thing I could do in that situation was to brake hard and pray.
