TOMTOM software upgrades (free?)...

I bought a 'TomTom One' a couple of years back.

When I went on the A1 recently, it still thought there were roundabouts ahead when in fact they were now motorway-style slip road exit/entries.

Can you get s/w (map) updates for free?
Has anyone updated the s/w on their TomTom?

You will have to pay for a map upgrade.

I upgraded the S/W in my old TT but it didn't rally like it as it wasn't powerful enough & would hang, usually at a critical junction!
