Good results.

It's a very sobering experience in a children's ward. Very. There are some tiny tots, and kids in a very bad way.

The staff in these places are the BEST. Some folk moan about the silly stuff, We heard a young mum in our ward giving it some, but FFS you have to wait, monitor, wait, monitor.

Exactly fossy.
There are some very poorly children in with life limiting issues, so it does put your own children's issues in perspective, however, it's all relative and doesn't take away what we have to deal with as parents.

There was one boy of about 13 who was really laying it on and his mother was a classic Munchausen by Proxy case.

What really makes me rally my faith in humans is the short term but quite deep friendship you strike up with some of the other parents.
Looking back over the week, I suppose it was more of a support group with the group rallying round whichever parent looked like they were too close to the edge, and helping them back. I'm sure some of you will have been there and understand.
