It was a good thread, as threads go.

Thinking is planning.I've only ever done that once and it was quite involved what with meeting place, how long to get to start and so on.
Usually I just thing I'll go to such and such and pedal off - which doesn't require planning at all
Yeah. Get bike and ride it in the same direction as other cyclists from the same starting point along the same route to the same destination with the same starting time on the same.
Is that too complex for you?![]()
And beer.
And pies.

Possibly!
Isn't it your birthday about now? I've just been on a bike ride to celebrate. Didn't bother letting you know as we all know there's no danger of you actually showing up. Happy birthday anyway, you preposterous old soak.

in my defence I did make it clear that it was William IV. But 'Georgian' can, properly, be extended through to some of the later works of CockerellGravesend, home of the finest Georgian street yet to be seen on a FNRTTC. (© @dellzeqq) Mind you someone, can't recall who, perhaps Justin(e) on YACF corrected him, saying it was either too early or too late, I can't remember which, to be Georgian. He now lives in Australia, presumably on a witness protection programme.
And both look like nobs! One wears a hoody up the other a baseball cap the wrong way round and at a jaunty angle.
