Top speed 60+ mph!

beat my best ever time to work today by a good 8 to 9 mins, top speed 60+mph and av. sp 31.5 mph... I was of course in a car ...grrrr. 3 punctures this morning at 6.30 am .. which will teach me never to brag about how well protected my tires are.

4 punctures in 2 days after none for over 12 months ... I guess they all just came at once What is unlucky is that I left my cycling shoes at work... still, hopefully it will just be my pedals that are flat tommorow and not my tires!

Only managed 35mph(down a hill) yesterday morning on a road with a 30mph limit for motorised vehicles, yet still had a numpty in a T reg Micra overtake me and waved at me to ride in the gutter just so they could join a queue of traffic ahead a little earlier.
