How do you tour with dogs? A dog in each pannier, ears flapping in the wind?

sabian 92 my husband has an ice trike with a custommade basket on the back,, the dogs love it! yes ears do flap in the wind too! I will post a picture when i find one out. they take it in turns to have a run about and trot nicely alongside the bikes. I have a pull along trailer for a dog and our stuff, we do get some funny looks and out teenage children are most embarrased

You wouldn't be the first recumbenteer I've seen do that. Used to often see a fella with a box on the back containing his dog, where I used to live.

It'll probably be down to asking each B&B, a surprising number will, especially in outdoor areas like the Lakes etc... Also check http://www.independenthostelguide.co.uk/ for the indpendent hostels. These will often say if they allow dogs.
