Train for megeve help please

well i live in holderness so its basically frat for 20 miles in everydirection brilliant for fast paced ride in the countryside
my problem is im heading out to megeve in june to do the time megeve sportife 85km in the alps. and i have very little hill experiance has anyone got any ideas, as to what will help with training?

It's great living out here, until you want to train on hills :blush:
When I was getting ready to do the C2C a few years ago, I cycled everywhere in the biggest gear I could & I think that helped with hills, but it's only a substitute & you cant beat the real thing. Is it not possible to take your bike by car, or other transport to Beverley & then you are on the edge of the Wolds & plenty of hills to work on there :thumbsup:

Spend a weekend in some serious cycling country like Lancashire, Yorkshire or Scotlandshire?

i set off from pocklington last saterday and a month or so came back from whitby i just carnt get out and do those sorts of rides as much as id like
