transport from glasgow

I wonder if anyone can help.
Me and 8 mates will be coming back from Glasgow on the 28th May 2010 after a cycle tour of the islands and are looking for way of getting ourselves and the bikes back to Liverpool. Can anyone help/suggest a way of doing this apart from the train. A minibus with a trailer would be ideal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hire a van - a Transit would be big enough to take 8 bikes - removers' blankets to protect the bikes and/or rope them carefully together.
