Had a great day cycling at SkyRide Manchester today and my missus came with me - first time she has been on a bike for 20 years.
Went to the Printworks afterwards, for a bite to eat. Left the bikes strapped to the cycle barriers,100 yards away, at the junction of Todd Street / Corporation St.
They were secured with 3 sturdy cable locks.
Returned an hour later to find one cleanly cut cable lock, my wife,s Raleigh runabout, but no sign of my Trek.
Reported to police and they are going to check CCTV, but here's the details, just in case (abandon all hope) !!!!
Trek 6300 - 2010 model.
19.5 " frame.
Frame is mainly gunmetal silver, with black top bar and red Trek insignia.
Black Rockshox Tora forks with extra Rockshox sticker on left fork.
White Avid 3 disc brakes.
Cateye rear light and handlebar mounted front bracket for Cateye opticube
I replaced the tyres with Continental Travel Contacts .
Has a Topeak rear mudguard and two silver bottle cages.
Sticker on frame showing Leisure Lakes,Preston
Frame No. ends in 480E
Any info or sightings in Manchester area would be much appreciated.
Regards
