I have a trek ex fuel ex8 2011 model.
The bike frame is 17.5 inch and I am 5ft 6". I would like to get a dropper post.
I have measured the post that goes in the frame (it goes in 220 mm). However, the dropper post comes in a minimum leghth of 355 mm (rock shox reverb), which will mean the post will be over 135 mm out from the bike. Then put the travel of 100mm of the post, its practically useless!
What have others done with Trek bikes!to get the dropper to fit!
Any ideas will be appreciated,
