Trojan Emails

I've had a few emails pretending to be from Paypal, Barclays, nat west etc, but one this morning was pretending to come from the Student Loan Company. Three of my kids have had student loans and I'm sure I had some kind of logon on 10 yrs ago and the email almost made me think it was genuine.

But I was cautious and noticed that the link they were asking to click on had a URL to some obscure site.

I deleted it.

I had a few purporting to be from Yahoo. Something about account being deleted unless I responded. Come to think of it also from a bank I'm with.
I always delete stuff like that without opening it. Fortunately the first couple of lines of the e mail are visible so you don't need to open it.

I love the ones that tell me my credit card with such and such a company has been cancelled/suspended until I click on the link to confirm my details. Please cancel it, I don't have a credit card! Go for it.
