Turbo Trainer

Hi

My father in law wants to buy a turbo trainer but his rear wheel is not quick release. I have a Tacx for my bike and i bought the special Tacx skewer. Is there a turbo that you doesn't require a skewer ? I am aware of rollers. Just thought i would ask ?

You can get Tacx axle nuts - bit expensive for what they are though.

Just a thought Col - the skewers usually come with the turbo so perhaps if you asked they might throw a pair of the axle nuts in instead of the skewer.
