It's pretty calm here in the middle of the midlands. The fat woodpigeon I can see preening itself in a tree doesn't seem too bothered by anything. I'm inspired to go for the 'uber-steady' commute option today. I'm hoping to be passed by numerous people on mtb's - all of them late for work!

That's exactly the sort of commute I take everyday, but not by choice.

It's a bit 'gusty' in this bit of Lincolnshire this morning pleasantly sunny and warm though. I'm sure the weather is more windy nowadays (compared to when I was a lad).

As beanzontoast said, weather looks fine in the West Mids (specifically Birmingham for me). Today is my last commute for a week , have booked some time off work
