I have just been admiring myself in a full length mirror as we do but rarely admit it. My legs are brown except between my knees and where the hem of my shorts legs end where they are very brown. Also my arms are a nice brown colour up to just above my elbows. As for the rest of me, I am a nice shade of lilly white. It looks most peculiar.

I'm two shades of brown. Torso, upper arms, feet and lower ankles and thighs are 'winter coat' brown. The remainder is 'summer coat' brown. Hands sometimes have a fish scale mehndi pattern tanned on them when I wear crochet backed fingerless gloves.

I gave up on trying to tan my white bits in our weak sunshine ages ago! I tan quite easily but i'm too hyperactive to sit still facing the sun for hours on end, so i use these instead http://www.amazon.co.uk/quickneasy-streak-self-tanning-wipes/dp/B0019D9UIU and i only pay £1 for a packet from the local pound shop!

Indeed, but being down here for the 'Lympics has been hard - there was sod all shade at the rowing, the Equestrian events and the Road Cycling at Brands Hatch, and as for travelling between all the different places? Well, red and white is the colour I am/was.
The factor 50 and the after sun put up a good fight, but alas, it wasn't enough.
The galling thing is that most other people looked perfectly normal or were tanned, it was just me that looked like the Indonesian flag!
