Myself and a friend are going to ride from Tynemouth to Inverness in September (approx the week of the 11th-17th)following most of the Coast & Castles cycleway and a route like this:
Tynemouth -->Seahouses --> Melrose --> Edinburgh --> Dundee --> Aberdeen --> Fochabers --> Inverness in 6 days around 374 miles.
This is the longest tour we have done so it will be quite a easy paced journey.
Accomodation is along the lines of B&B and Hostels carrying pretty much everything in Carradice Super C Saddlebags.
If anyone else has done this route and has any useful information or would like to come along for some or all of it then feel free to message me as the more the merrier!
