Another question would I be able to fit some cyclo cross tyres on my bike it's a carrera zelos road bike, but i'm thinking iv got a bit of clearance but will it be enough

unlikely you will have enough clearance

I doubt it.

I doubt it.

+1 - and even if there is enough to get the tyres on, you need plenty more clearance for the mud that builds up around the brakes and fork crown, brake bridge and rear stays. It soon slows you right down if your clearances are tight.
