Cut my thumb open. It hurts.

I was putting the rubbish bin out. I pressed a bag of rubbish down. There was something sharp in the bag. Something sharp met thumb. Thumb lost.

So a nicely deep cut has been thoroughly flushed out under running water and sticking plaster applied. It stings.

What a stupid thing to do!

I was taking a new knife out of a packet last week, couldn't get the tag off so got another knife to slide under tag and prise off in my efforts I managed to slash my finger on the new knife!! Still having to wear my Tom and Jerry plaster or it will open up again.

It's dog latin. Reverse the order of the syllables in the word, and there you have it.

Hope you're ok waffly - I was thinking of you this weekend (no, Papercorn, not THAT way) - I was making green tomato chutney too. Did you get yours to set? Mine is all runny but delicious, even Leo likes it (11.5 months).
