No point killing yourself.

I have been off the bike for three days as I have pulled a muscle in my side. I could have cycled in but would rather it healed. No sense in making it worse.
GWS!
I did carry on riding for a few days, should not have done it

ride, I'm very rarely poorly but I've climbed on with sickening hangovers before and nothing hurts more than that

riding off a hangover is lovely, but if you're unwell, ride slower and suffer, I'll do a lot to avoid paying train fare and raising your metabolism is good for you I think (I'm not a doctor)

it most certainly is not going to kill you

Been suffering from a bout of man flu this week so have been driving in, not worth taking any chances of it getting worse, especially as I've only been here 5 months so don't really want any 'sick' time on my record.

I think if you are going to cycle through it then just accept you will be slower and allow for it, no point trying to keep up your usual speed and making things worse.

I'm rarely ill, if I'm a little under the weather but still going to work I'll commute but take it easy, I'll not do any rides that aren't essential, if I'm that ill I've had to take to my sick bed I'll not ride till I've recovered.

Well the Gods have spoken, it's hammering it down. The car it is.

I've used the car today, light drizzle in Coventry this morning, could have cycled or drove, deciding to drive turned out right, p**** down when I left work, stopped about half way home.

When I eventually left, can leave later if not using my bike, the rain had stopped to a very fine mist, so I took my motorbike.

Serious traffic congestion was one of the reasons that I took my motorbike this morning, this is why http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/cyclist-badly-hurt-coventry-crash-7797747

I hope he is OK. This is half a mile from my house and a very busy junction I have to use every day.

I heard about this when I was getting the car out this morning, I hope he recovers quick. its a junction I used every day when I worked on Herald Way a few years ago, not a nice one to cycle.

I'll be in the car next week for at least a week till my ribs settle down. Might be looking at taking it easy for a bit myself as have a few 'hormone' issues at the minute.
