My predictions about the weather seem to be coming true. How is it when you CANNOT go out and ride the weather turns fantastic. I'm currently off cycling for two weeks (gentlemans operation...snip snip) and the view out the windows is just taunting me. I just know as soon as I'm able to get back on the bike it'll be windy rainy and crap all round. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!

Padded shorts won't help. Only had the Op yesterday, so I need to take some time off and heal up. Not the most pleasant experience to be sure.

Took about 10mins from start to finish. Wasn't too painful either, just a "tugging" sensation. Mine has healed well and I can't say I'm in too much discomfort at the moment. Only real downside was the crusty old doctor and his two matronly old bags all staring at my meat and two veg. All in all it was quick, but still an unedifying experience. Plus sides, of course, outweigh the down, so I'd say go for it. Just don't listen to anyone with their horror stories, I'm sure most of it is untrue anyway.
