This probably isn’t going to help, but I remember that my first proper bike was a Falcon, bought in 1966. Five speed, dropped bars and I definitely remember the frame as being gold metallic. I could do hundred mile days on it but I was a teenager! I doubt if it was anything special but I thought it was wonderful!
