Upgrades

I've seen a lot of talk about people upgrading their stem, amongst other things...

I was just wondering how much difference does a stem upgrade make.
I have full intention to get a new wheel set once the winter has been and gone!

A lighter wheel set will transform your ride, depending on what you have already. A stem upgrade is for either weight (tiny amounts) or stiffness so you get less flex when lumping loads of power through the bike.

or for altering your riding position...

Unless you have fit/reach issues, a new stem will make no noticeable difference to your riding.
