Upgrading groupset from Claris to 105

Sorry for the confusion.
I thought it did not worth openning a new thread. Instead, I post this here as part of the same upgrade hamidalddin thought.

the Claris crankset must be made of lead to be twice as heavy

Actually, only the crank arm of the claris crankset is made of aluminium. The axle and the chainrings are made of steel according to shimano.
I assume this is why is way cheaper and so heavy.
