thanks for info when I change bikes(prob next year ) I ll prob ably give clips a go im pretty accident prone though
for now just want to give bike shoes a try see how they feel will look at mtb ones

Do you think I would be better off buying some combination pedals for now?
didn t know about these just saw some on amazon gives me the option then

Some folk say The Cannibal once said "Don't buy upgrades; ride up grades."
While it's a snappy quote, I kind of doubt the attribution for a couple of reasons.

Chiefly, Eddy made his living from selling upgrades. Surely he would be more likely to say "Don't just buy upgrades, buy an entire new bike - from me".
But also, is Eddy's English good enough for a pun like this?
I suspect it may have come from an anonymous American (grade rather than gradient is US usage)

Anyway. It's a good quote, whether or not Eddy coined it.

And he had bespoke frames built , and was known to change saddle height mid race.
