Family round tonight, so..........I watched Steve McCardle (possibly the best butcher in the world) bone a rib of Welsh Black for me. Mustard crust and into the oven at 220 for a quick blast on layered onions, before turning down to 150 while I make the Yorkshire pudding mix. Needless to say, there are roast potatoes, parsnips, broccoli, carrots etc. Eldest son has done a triathlon today, so he might be hungry....................

I'd like to say that there's a magnum of Domaine de la Romani-Conti on the table, but it's a Banrock Station wine box.

Shiraz-Mataro, I presume? A regular camping standby - the beauty is that SWMBO doesn't always realise that more than a single bottle-worth has been consumed over the course of an evening.
