Ventura Bracket

Hi guys
I am making up mudguard stays and i am thinking of using a ventura bracket

anyone know the diameter of the stay wire. I will buy the wire but need the dia.

I don't know if these are any use to you. They are from the from a set of sks guards which I replaced. The stays on the replaced guards was 4mm, my new sks guards are 3mm.
If you can use them let me know and I can drop them in the post for you.
