Sorry to ask again but as Victoria park in Hackney is now closed in the evenings and I'm sure it's a main route for many cyclists, what's the best alternative route.
End up at the gate near bishops way and want to get through to the eastway. There's so many one way streets around there and I really went around the houses and had to go down some pretty horrible 2 lane clogged up roads.
The last time I was up that way the roads to the north of the park were completely nuts. How about Sewardstone Road, Old Ford Road and then try to keep close to the amber or green routes on the map above? I've seen bikes along the canal path but I've no idea what that's like for getting on and off the towpath.
