I'm in the market for a little bike for "town" duties and saw this. It local to me so I can give it the once over, but wondered if there was anything I should be particularly aware of either with Moultons specifically or because of its age.

The same place also have this, which will likely be more in my budget (a folder would be nice, but isn't essential): any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT
Just realised that neither of them are folders: confusing my Moultons with my Bromptons.

If there is a more appropriate forum perhaps a mod. could move this thread.

The RSW is notorious for broken frames at the head tube! For the Moulton, the drop-outs and suspension joints can be rusted or worn and mat need replacing by a frame builder, otherwise they are good bikes. If 16"x1+3/8" tyres, then these are readily available from Brompton dealers.

The Raleigh 20 is a good bike if modified with Al rims and other components. As it stands, it is a very heavy bike! The early ones had 20"x1+3/8" steel wheels which are NOT 20" BMX size: one is 451mm, the other 406mm, in diameter.
