I was listening to the radio, whilst sorting out in the kitchen earlier
I had been expecting to hear Simon Mayo (Radio 2; 17:00 - 19:00)
Instead it was a Johnnie Walker special, with him interviewing/talking to Jimmy Page
I'll freely admit, I wasn't a fan of bands like Led Zeppelin, in my earlier years, I'm still not, but have had my head turned slightly by Robert Plants collaberations with artists like Alison Krauss & Union Station (the 'Raising Sand' CD)

Some of Pages musical choices (songs he admired/influenced him/had worked on) were interesting, as seen by the play-list, on the BBC link
He played on, for example
- the (Shirley Bassey) 'GoldFinger' Bond theme!!
- Thems 'Baby Please Don't Go'
There was quite a lot of Zepellin played, as can be expected
Heck!!, he even named one of the very few (there's maybe 5 or 6) Presley tracks l like
Although, I think I really prefer the Dave Edmunds version from the 'Twangin' LP (still got my copy)
Recorded in 1955
And, this, with Robert Plant (this is the track that really brought Jimmy Page back to my attention)
