Wanted - tourer/hybrid for teenager

I'm looking for a tourer / hybrid suitable for my 13 year old son for some touring we want to do together later this year.

I don't want to buy new because he's going to grow out of it in a couple of years at most, and I don't mind if it needs a bit of work.

Frame size probably around 50cm, certainly no more. Triple chain ring, and mounts for guards and rear rack, are essential. I think he'd be better off with flat bars, tho' he likes the idea of drops - we'll look at either.

Have you got something like this that your kid has grown out of? I'd be happy to pay you a fair price for it, and will travel to view & collect (SE England).

Hasn't got a triple, but you should find 34 x 27 plenty low enough on the road.

Dave, thanks for the reply. That's a great looking bike at a good price, and the spec is spot on, but I'm afraid it's rather more than I have to spend - I'm looking for something a bit older. I hope you find him a buyer for it.
