Warm weather = Cager Rage?

Has anyone else noticed this trend with drivers?

This morning, the weather was pretty mild... had a great commute to work, a lot of courteous driving and cycling and everyone making good progress.

Then this afternoon, the sun comes out and i've had two drivers literally screaming at me for using the centre of the carriageway while keeping up with traffic. I wouldn't mind so much if I was holding them up - they both seemed to have all the time in the world to tell me how I was wrong and I should stick to the left/right/pavement.

You certainly get more young lads in cars shouting things at you in the summer, mainly because the window is already down. And they are peanuts.

Not really had any problems with drivers and warm weather, you get the odd one who gets a bit to close, but apart form that no complaints here

It could be worse, apparently warm weather causes wars too. Or so an expert says.

I've had a few cars honking me as I filter and a few doing silly overtakes to other cyclists on blind bends....but otherwise loving cycling in the sun

I've found that some folk just like having someone to shout at, and like others have said the windows are open when warmer so we hear them (they are probably shouting all year round, but sound-insulated when it's cold/raining!)

And some will just like showing off to their mates
