Waterproof Jacket Repair

[Barbelier]

Came off on the ice a couple of weeks ago and tore two small holes in my nice new Altura Attack jacket

Anyone know if there is a suitable repair kit available? Did a quick search but nothing suitable came up.

Goretex repair patches

Yeah, the Goretex patches are great; got two on my coat. The only problem is getting a colour match - I got army cammo on a hi viz orange Altura coat! [Oh the irony.....]

Make sure the coat is wiped clean & dry before putting on patches, a little warm air from a hairdryer seemed to help them stick.

Dependning on the size of the holes I use Tenacious Tape - its very good, and a whole lot cheaper than the patching products but the downside is its less neat.

Tenacious is good - I've used it on numerous occasions, but it is not very durable on areas that see a lot of wear.
