That image on 3 minutes 48 seconds must be one of the most shown and poignant images of the war.

Whilst I appreciate the sentiment, etc., I'm just not sure that if I posted pics of the modern reality of war that they'd go down quite as well.

Dead babies are not a great advert for patriotic vigour.

<I shall not be posting any pics of dead babies just in case you are worried I may bring reality into the world of being "truly patriotic" and posting a picture of a candle>

There's nothing "modern" about infants/children being killed in war. That reality has always been there. The only change is in how its now available to a wider "audience".
