Yesterday, the MetOffice promised us a dry day today with sunshine (strong westerly wind though), so I planned to get up and go for a ride this morning. So far it has been one shower of rain after another. Checked the forecast again, and yes, they have changed it to showers. They do this ALL the time! Why bother to forecast 10 minutes ahead when I can do that myself by looking out of the window?
Sorry for the rant but I was looking forward to getting out this morning. And no, I won't MTFU and go out and get wet! I don't enjoy it so I won't do it

I remember a few years back the MetOffice decided on a policy of "feel good" weather forecasts. So instead of "showers" they would say "sunny spells", and generally make out that the weather is better than it actually is. Well thanks; that might suit couch potatoes but for those of us who spend time outdoors, we would rather know if it is going to rain or not!!!
