Bit of black ice on the driveway this morning but will go soon as general gloom and sogginess returns. Still torturing numbers from home.

Junior not in a good mood as having boyfriend problems, have been advised to avoid mentioning anything. One of the hounds dug a decent sized hole in the garden, luckily in a corner where its not really noticeable but got himself covered in soil. Mrs. 666 was not amused.

Morning
Most of the white stuff has gone here to be replaced by black slippy stuff. Need to walk Bertie then it will the turbo and later will be pilates with Mrs W having made the mistake of offering to accompany her to her first session.

Morning all. Definitely warmer at 2 degrees but black ice everywhere. Did my good deed for the year and gritted the footpaths and carpark at work. Usual stuff at work, im able to throw the apprenti into jobs first so he learns. Eitherway making my job easier.

Morning folks,
Looking chilly out, fortunately haven’t had to venture out to confirm that. Heavy rain last night and frosty this morning means it could have been quite slippery. Monday morning getting up at SG type times was a definite shock to the system after the long break. Hope everyone enjoyed the festivities.
Not been pedalling much, but have a new (to me) turbo trainer now so can get the legs moving again. It came with a 10 speed Campag cassette fitted so shifting isn’t right at present. I could buy a shimano freehub for it, or do the sensible thing and buy some 10 speed Campag kit. Then I’ll have to buy another bike to put it on 😬
Collecting the old dear from the airport tonight, that’s the end of my peaceful and quiet for a while…

It's not quite The Great Escape and he's not digging near any boundary - there's probably some animal scent involved but no obvious burrows there either. I blame the squirrels, although was hoping that the local cat and resident owl could take care of the tree rats.
