I have shiny new pedals.
Got 2 miles into my commute and thought "that doesn't feel right".
Looked down at my right foot and thought "that doesn't look right".
Unclipped, looked at pedal and it definitely was not right, the small nut holding the pedal to the spindle came undone.
So cycled back home on just the spindle and since the spindles are shot, rather than spend time repairing them again, got the big pedal spanner out and fitted a new pair of pedals.
So now the rest of the bike is caked in mud but the pedals a nice and shiny.
