Well it amazed me anyway.....miles ridden since 1990

Being the sad person that I am, and while trying to find something else, I went of on a tangent and started adding up all the miles that I have ridden since 1st Jan 1990

If I do say so myself its a respectable 88,020.34 miles including this year to date. But when I look back the figure could have been so much higher, eg in 1995 I only rode 801.70 miles. Now I can only think that must have been the year that I had my two knee ops?

Annoyingly, I cannot find any diaries older than 1990.

Good Going Alan 802 miles was still far in advance of the UK average (43 IIRC). Did you get anywhere intersting in that 88,000 miles?

In a word, no, which makes it even worse doesn't it?

The only notable trip will be this coming August when I'm doing LeJOG in 8 days....well that's the plan anyway.

You've got a lot of miles to do to catch up with this chap the leader of the 300,000 mile club.

Don't know why 300,000 miles was picked as the entry qualification.
