Well , What an Improvement in the Weather

....... around here anyway. Got out today for the first time in a longer time than I care to contemplate. Beautiful sunshine , still a bit nippy but not too bad.
Took this photo to commemorate the event. Pity I didn't take any bread with me , the swans came out of the water and walked right up and stared at me while I was parking the bike , really made me feel guilty.

Only a short ride but I was cream crackered way before the end.

It was frozen this morning but the frost had lifted by midday. It's now freezing again though.

Rode in today, but the roads near home were freezing by 5.30pm - popped to my folks in the car - like an ice rink...got back home and it's warmed up again....

I was scraping ice off my wife's car's windscreen at 14:00 today. So where's the improved weather? Hope it comes fast as I've got an audax ride in the morning.

Supposed to be 10C tomorrow, supposedly...

supposed to be +3 in Winchester today. Only climbed to minus 1.8. Very heavy white frost clinging to everything. Forecast for tomorrow says +9!

I actualy cancelled a ride today at 7,45 am as it was so icy

Still -5 here. Had planned to cycle to work today but yet again still not on the bike, I was sat in the office with a coat so goodness knows what I;d have needed on the bike.

How come is so warm in Twicks. not far from here - Leatherhead/Guildford

Still bloody freezing here in leafy South Bucks. Hasn't got above zero C all day. Freezing fog throughout the day coating everything. Not going outside again until it gets a good few degrees warmer than now.

lovely picture it struck me today how beautiful the trees look, nicer than when they have leaves. I took a picture of the willow in my garden and have it as my phone screensaver
