Fancy going for a bike ride, but my longs are still a little damp from washing them earlier. Never mind I thought, let's give them a quick iron. That'll dry them out.

Start ironing...oh this is working well! Oh, wait. What's that smell? Plastic? oh. shiiiiieeettt.....perhaps this wasn't such a good idea!

I've now got a black/plastically iron with lycra longs which have had a layer of lycra removed. They're okay though.

haha. whooops

One thing is for sure, you won't be trying that method of drying any lycra clothes in the future. 这是愚蠢的 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I once went skiing for a weekend with friends then flew straight to Budapest for a week of business. Put my ski kit in to the hotel laundry for a wash and my polypropylene base layer came back with a huge iron-shaped burn on the sleeve and a very apologetic letter from Management. I could have got a new one out of them but didn't and in the end the top lasted me a good few years more.
