Wet cement no 2 does that as that's whats always been done . Ive lived here 18 years and never done it and the last person that lived here kicked the shoot out of himthere's a real lack of community values in some quarters and a disregard for people's property.
I see folk sweep their gardens, but rather than collect the rubbish in a shovel and put it into their bin, they push it out of their gate across the pavement and brush it next to the kerb so it blows across the street.
To explain a little more . I picked up a stack of block paving from the allotment for £30 . I thought it would make a nice path for the bikes as I have a shingle driveway . Puncture heaven !
So I have started to lay the path on wet cement rather than mess about with whacker plates and all that jazz . A bit at a time on wet cement means I can do it now and then .
Cue wet cement no1 who stood on the path and said so you don't want me standing on the path .
Cue wet cement no 2 who stepped over the sign and then jumped around like a Russian dancer trying to get off the wet bit but it was all wet after the sign . That's why I placed the ****ing sign there .
Cue wet cement no 3 who side stepped the sign to get on the dirt but then got back on the wet cement thinking that the sign was just for that tiny bit and not the path it was blocking .
Wet cement no 4 will be tomorrow and will have a brick rammed up his/her ****ter !
Tell a man there are 300 billion stars in the universe and he'll believe you. Tell him a bench has wet paint on it and he'll have to touch to be sure.
GC
Put up a sign that says "WARNING!!! Avoid ANY contact with skin or clothes- if skin contact find urgent medical assistance and/or wash affected clothing immediately with copious and clean water."Not so much wet paint but wet concrete .
What is it with people , there is a sign saying WET and they still have to go near it
I'm changing the sign tomorrow from WET NO WALKING PLEASE to **** OFF !
