Walking down Milbank from Vauxhall Bridge to Lambeth Bridge (I think thats it, horseferry Road?) at about 8.30am made this provicial boy laugh.

It was like whacky races, big bikes with little people, little bikes with big people, falling apart at the seams bikes, high end bikes, shoppers, rock-hoppers, scooters, cabs, cars, WMV, hi-viz, no-viz, clipped-in lycra, boating shoes on vinyl pedals. etc, etc. whoosh.

I even saw a police car cut up a cyclist going into Romney street.

London makes me smile when I watch the commuting cyclists. My lonely existence is so peaceful and calm by comparison.

Of course no commute would be complete without the odd BMW and Pre-Booked.

Such is the diversity of the "cycling community". Celebrate it!
