Went to collect my Humber from Surrey today
What a lovely old machine

It was bought by the sellers mother second hand in the 30s apparently
Has some great features, King of the road bell, tennis racket holder and the lovely quadrant shifter

While we were chatting I spotted a mudguard in the corner of the huge garage and asked about it.
Turned out to be a complete bike belonging to the lady from when she was in her teens
I didn't ask her age but the bike has to be from 60s I'd guess. I'll do a bit of Google bashing later

Also sporting a tennis racket holder!

I've nabbed the stand and bell from it, stand for one of mine and the bell to sell as it's an old halfords one

We spoke about the saddle bag racks and she mentioned that she had one somewhere.A short while later she appeared with the bag that contained a dynamo set, odd tools, spoke spanners and these lovely tyre levers

I've not heard of Terry's before, the tennis racket holder is made by the same company.
More research for me!

Hopefully the bsa will be going to my friends wife, just need to source a 3 speed set up for it

Brilliant bikes from a golden age.Terrys used to make all kinds of cycling accessories commonly the chrome clips that used to hold cables along the top tubes.
