Like most people, mine varies according to who I am talking to.

I sound like an NZer if I am talking to kiwis, more my native Leicester if I am talking to other Lestohs. A bloke even commented that I sound like an NZer when I'm talking about NZ - which struck me as quite bizarre! To others, I suspect I sound vaguely midlands/north-ish with occasional Kiwi vowel sounds... but difficult to place.

It was recently remarked upon that my French sounds local. That is, Berrichone. It means I sound like a bit of a yokel to the sophisticated Parisians!

Guess I'm just a bit of a mimic and adjust to blend in as much as possible.

Completely without regional accent but having lived in Newcastle for 10 years I can taak Geordie. Can also do a Fred Dibna-esqu sort of East Lancashire drawl.

I used to be friends with a French assistante at college and I found that if I said something she didn't understand I only had to repeat it in a stupid Antoine de Caunes French accent and she would understand straight away.

I've been down near Bath for twenty years but still talk like a Buxtonion, I keep going back to top my accent up.

Standard RAF with a mix of Scouse and Scots dialect and tonal inflection unless I am giving instructions to my desktop technician when my accent plummets to pure dead proper Glaswegian, by the way!
