I loaded my htc with all kinds of cycling apps....I never use them.....and on a tour they are pretty much useless without access to wifi...
I guess some are good for day rides ...

I used the Garmin app on my phone until i got the 500.
Most reliable and doesn't flatten the battery like the others.
