trial bikes are for trials

that is where they hop around on stones and logs and so on

they are not for riding

We have one in the shed here, seems every time it gets ridden it needs a new front freewheel. Yep you heard me correct, freewheel sprocket on front and rear. Whenever I have a had a play on it the temptation to sit down is almost overwhelming.

GF's son had one of those without saddle a few years ago. He was in his early 20's but only used bike to ride round his mates houses. He looked a right twonk on it. If he had been doing trials or tricks I could see the point but going round streets to friends or his girlfriends what's that about. Don't tell me "looking cool" :whistle: .

The Wonderful Video show what those kind of bikes can do in the right hands .

i must be getting old, i was expecting something like dougie lampkin in a competition,, but instead some twonk smashing up council property

( fixes his bike after some bits, but does he bend back the poles, does he heck , sheeeeeesh, i'm off to buy a daily mail now :smile: )
