Just another question. Is there much difference between the Dawes Super and Ultra Galaxy? Is the Ultra worth the extra £300?

It looks as if the main difference is the type of steel used to make the frame. Reynolds 631 vs. 853. The 853 frame is probably a bit lighter than the 631, but not massively so.

If you Google the subject you'll find lots of discussions about the pros and cons of both tubesets.

Just found the differences between them not long ago. Apart from the frame, the ultra has a brooks leather seat along with shinamo spd 505 cleats. Other than that they are similar.

Will have a look at the difference in frames and then decide if its worth the extra. Not sure how much the seat is but I bought those exact cleats for my MTB a few months back now lol.

Just need to find out when/if a 2014 model is due out.

Have a look at the Specialized Tricross Triple. Has rack mountings front and rear.
