.......besides your undies and socks?
For me it's watches.
Just acquired my latest this afternoon.

Don't want digital, fancy bezels and all sorts of functions I'll never use: just want analogue time and date.
The above fits the bill admirably

I have a thing about Animal watches and have a number bought of ebay.

My watch is now about 17 years old and I paid £40 to have it fixed last year - that's about half of what it cost but I love it and don't want to replace it. (It doesn't even have numbers just hands and the face).

So it wouldn't be a watch for me... I will have to think on it.

My tools
It's a double whammy....i like shiny new tools...and they get used everyday, so they do get worn out quite quickly.

Bikes! Got back into cycling about five or six years back after a gap of must be something like 20 years, since when I've bought, god...I have to think about this now...10? I think it's 10. Of which I still own 6. I must be a very sick puppy...

Ok, the assumption was rather a leap of faith I'll admit.

Food. i seam to eat soooooooooooooooo much food. for instance lunch today.. big pasta salad with chicken and bacon, 280g of fresh pineapple, a bag of crisps and a cookie. that doesn't include the nuts i eat during the day as well.

Sunglasses seem to be a bit of a consumable with me.

I have bought expensive pairs and cheap pairs but the always seem to get lost, sat on, trodden on, fall apart, get scratched.

I tend to make most things last ages but cant with sunglasses. It has got to a point where I really resent paying out for yet another pair (as I did today).

Watches here too - I keep breaking them.

Bike lights too, although I'm happy now - just ordered two fibre flares for my rucksack - flexible light tube - good side visibility. Been paranoid since getting knocked off last Xmas.

Over the last several years it has been the design plans for how I use my house.

I hope that that has ended now and I can get on with building my bedroom suite. 25' x 14' bedroom with adjoining dressing room, laundry, bath room and shower room (his and hers) taking up the whole of the second floor of my house.
