I run a property company. Love it.

Some days in the office, researching new developments, designing, picking out and deciding fixtures and fittings etc...
Some days out viewing potential new projects
Some days on site and actually getting my hands dirty
Some days networking etc... meeting architects, surveyors, suppliers etc....
Bit of everything and I think that's why I like it so much.

I fight Pirates, capture them and hang them.

So that will be why you were up in Glasgow at the SECC for a conference?
Was that because it's next to the river?

I work at the adrenalin-fuelled interface between information, bureaucracy and treatment for substance misuse.

On the weekend I act as High Commissioner and Grand Master of the Stonecutters.

Kate Rusby is a folk music sex-goddess! I saw her at a tiny venue back in 96 where she was selling CD's out of a wee suitcase in the interval (needless to say I bought a CD just to get to talk to her). She was lovely, charming, witty and very attractive.

I work in R&D for a company that makes soldering materials for electronics assembly. Cookery basically. As jobs go it isn't bad.

I do fight Pirates. Except they be the type that will steal Intellectual Property - stories, films, paintings etc....

I specialise in Education and work with UK Schools, Colleges and Universities to make sure that their use of educational content is morally and legally compliant.

Rather an esoteric field and on the face of it rather dry. But absolutely fascinating in reality as it involves ideas about protecting and rewarding creativity within an increasingly digitised world; and balancing this with the democratic demand for this material to be freely available.

(You did ask :welcome:)

Yarll be an eckspert in creative commons licencing then....

Dr Feelgood are my hometown band. God, they're still playing? I saw them last about 25 years ago at the original Oysterfleet.
