What do you do with your spare sprockets

I seem to have collected lots of different cassettes and spare sprockets over the years. I've tried to find some way of keeping them in some sort of order but they invariably end up in a jumbled pile of Campag and Shimano and sram sprockets and spacers

Having two cats doesn't help none either.

It would be nice if I could afford some spare freehubs but is there any other solution ?

Make up a cassette, often with a few of the same size sprockets. Add them into the mix and its great fun!

I dont have any spare sprockets as I use all 7 of them , as well as the three at the front during my rides.

I didn't know you had back probs too. what surgery did you have? So far the quacks are saying if I can walk into the surgery there cannot be much wrong with my L5/S1 the fact that the MRi shows the disk is missing and the vertebra are touching and the bone is disintegrating clearly doesn't bother them as much as it bothers me ...barstewards the lot of them

I'm sure there was amention on here a while ago of things you could do with old bike parts... can't find it now, but in the meantime, you could do this with old bike seats...

As for spare bits / bikes I recently came across this project:

that can make use of spare parts you no longer need. I can't decide whether to give them a brand new saddle that has a severe incompatibility with me ... or whether it would be the same for everyone else - then it would be cruel to give it to them.
