What do you eat with a curry eg rice/chips.....any others ideas ?

I have just made myself a curry (chicken, mushroom and onion).
I normally do rice to go with it, maybe chips, maybe nan bread.
Just wondering what other simple ideas there are.

home made flat breads, (per person/ bread) 40g each of Self Raising flour and natural Yoghurt (or Creme Fraiche), pinch of salt and a tsp of oil.
mix together and roll into a ball on a floured surface.

Roll it out flat, and then cook for 2-3 mins per side in a hot dry non stick frying pan

you can add in herbs garlic niggela seeds etc f you want, just keep equal quantities of SR flour and Yoghurt.

Why not if that's what you like? Lots of potato in Indian sub continent food (at least in UK).
I'd usually have rice at home, out I'd have rice and share a naan/chapati/paratha, and/or daal / saag-paneer. I'm not very keen on curry potato dishes

Thanks for the reminder guys - I've already got a curry in the fridge for tonight ready to be re-heated and suddenly remembered I don't have any naan bread. Looks like I'll be making a short detour to the supermarket on my way home from the station.

The other side I'll be having is basmati rice, which I do have some of in the cupboard, so that's okay.

I use this recipe a lot for quick flatbreads - it's easy, quick and reliable. I find I need a bit more flour than yoghurt to avoid a really sticky dough but you can just go with the flow as you make them. Also useful for eating with humus or other Mediterranean dishes, or as a faux-pizza base, I've even done them with bacon and cheese for breakfast.
